YEnergy.com, operated by Spicewood Secure Storage LLC, is a set of reading pages. This policy lists what happens to information when you read them.
What reaches us
- Nothing you type. The site has no accounts, forms, comments, search box, ZIP-code field or calculator. We cannot collect what the pages do not ask for.
- Request data at the host. Cloudflare delivers the site and processes the IP address, browser type, page requested and time of each request so pages load and abuse is blocked.
- Analytics. None today. If we add cookie-free analytics we will say so here first and use it only in aggregate.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your address and your message and use them only to reply.
Cookies and scripts
YEnergy sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds.
When you click to another company
YEnergy has no live affiliate links today. We are applying to the Amazon Associates program. If Amazon accepts us, links to Amazon.com will be affiliate links: Amazon may set cookies on your browser after you click one, and it uses them to credit us for purchases; we do not control those cookies and Amazon's privacy notice governs them. For any other partner links we add: the partner or its affiliate network may set cookies on its own domain to credit us for the referral. We do not control those cookies or what you enter there, such as a ZIP code, address, electric bill or contact details; the partner's privacy policy governs it. Links to government and utility sites, such as Power to Choose or the Public Utility Commission, work the same way: their policies apply.
What we do with it
We use the little we receive to run and secure the site, answer your messages and, later, to receive referral credit. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to opt out of certain processing. Because we collect so little there is usually little to act on. Write to [email protected] and we will answer.
Children, retention, changes
The site is written for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request or meet legal duties. If this policy changes we will change the date above.
